A big congratulations to Khapri Alston of the Pistons, who was selected as the player of the week for Week 8, following a dominating performance in crunch time, as the Pistons defeated the Grizzlies 68-63 in the league's first ever double overtime game. Alston had 29 points and eight rebounds to go along with five steals, as he scored 24 of his 29 points in the second half and the OT periods. Alston was 11/17 from the field and was 7/9 from the free throw line, as the Pistons picked up their second win of the season. Alston is now averaging 17.3 ppg and 8.5 rpg, good for sixteenth and fifth, respectively
