12:00 pm - Celtics @ Suns
Two teams heading in very opposite directions match up in the first game of Week 7, as the Celtics take on the Suns. The Celtics are averaging just 50.2 points per game, while the Suns are averaging 78.8 points per game, second to only the Lakers. The Suns have won two straight, as their offense has exploded for 202 points in their past two games. They will look to keep their high-powered offense going against the Celtics, as they now have seven players averaging double figures. Ryan Kvasnicka leads the way, averaging 22.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game. Vashawn Sims averages 19.8 ppg, Jamir Hinds averages 15.7 ppg, and John Oliver averages 12.7 ppg. Derrick Dale has been solid in his first two games with the team, averaging 12.5 ppg and 6.0 rpg, while Phil Andrade continues to produce with 10.4 points per contest. The same conversation continues for the Celtics, who simply cannot score the basketball. They are averaging 39 points per game on offense in their past two contests, as only Antonio Phillips has been able to do anything on offense. Phillips had 14 points and eight rebounds against the Nets, as the team went 3/18 from behind the long line. In what could be a potentially lopsided matchup, the Suns will look to pick up their third straight win, as they look to take some momentum into their championship game rematch with the Spurs in Week 8.

1:00 pm - Bucks @ Grizzlies
Despite a 2-0 start, the Bucks have lost four straight games, and are desperate to get back into the win column. They will take on the Grizzlies at 1 pm, as the Grizzlies play in their second doubleheader of the season. This game feels as close to a must-win game as they come for the Bucks, who have really struggled on defense this season. They have given up the second most points in the K1 League, behind only the Pistons, as teams have continued to play very well on offense against them. Billy Baptist is averaging 20.2 points per game, but has been a bit inconsistent for his standards. The Bucks will need him to play well on both ends of the court, along with centers Aleks Malinic and CC Malone, as the Grizzlies possess one of the league's best interior attacks. They have gotten off to a 4-2 start of their own, winning a bunch of hard-fought, closely contested games. A rare second half stutter this past Sunday was the exception for the Grizzlies, who fell 70-66 against the Rockets, despite leading by 16 points in the first half. Chad White has flourished with his new team, averaging 17.3 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game, and 5.0 assists per game. Chris White has also been outstanding for the Grizzlies, as he is averaging 20.0 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game. If the Bucks can slow down the White brothers, they may have the edge in this one with Baptist, as they hope to get back in the win column. However, slowing the bothers down is easier said than done, as Chris has scored at least 15 points in each of his four appearances, and Chad has scored in double figures in five of his six appearances this season. Look for the Bucks to try and knock off one of the league's biggest surprises this season, but it won't be easy, as the White brothers will look to assert their dominance in this one.

2:00 pm - Spurs @ Grizzlies
The Grizzlies will have their hands full on Sunday in the back end of the doubleheader, as they take on the three-time defending champion Spurs, who got back to their winning ways in Week 6, thanks to a full roster. Dennis Koger was sensational, scoring 43 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, both of which were league-high's in Week 6. In addition to Koger's performance, the Spurs welcomed back Dustin Rennewanz, and Chris Green, who combined for 34 points, and knocked down eight three-pointers. For the Grizzlies to pull off the upset here, they will have to contain Koger and big man Trey Johnson, while also getting some production around the perimeter from their guards. Perhaps the Grizzlies' biggest weakness this season has been their guard play. While it hasn't cost them games per say, they haven't scored a bunch of points either in recent weeks, outside of their three interior players. Chad White, Chris White, and Rick Kirk have combined for 47.1 points per game, but the remaining six players on the team have combined for just 27.2 points per game. For the Grizzlies to be successful against the Spurs, as well as the league's top tier teams, that will be the key for them, getting more consistent production from their guards. Look for Dan Mitchell (6.2 ppg), Walter Hudson (6.2 ppg), and Jordan Kirk (5.0 ppg) to play an important role in this area for the upstart Grizzlies.

3:00 pm - Warriors @ Bulls
Two very talented teams, that find themselves in the middle of the pack, square off in a very important game in the standings. The 3-3 Warriors take on the 2-4 Bulls, with the winner jumping multiple spots in the standings. The Warriors were outstanding in Week 6, taking down the Billy Baptist led Bucks, behind Tyree Mosley's 33 points. Chris Anderson had his best game of the year, scoring 19 points, and Quon Shaw had 13 points and six rebounds. Despite being one of the more inconsistent teams in the K1 League, the Warriors have also shown that they can beat anybody, including their double-digit triumph over the Spurs in Week 3. The Bulls meanwhile, will search for their first signature win since arguably the Fall 2021 Season, when they took down the Lakers in the quarterfinals. The Bulls kept pace with the high-powered Suns last week, but ultimately fell short at the end. Benito Munoz was fantastic, also scoring 33 points. Only one other player scored in double figures, as Nick Crowe had 11 points. Bobby Crivokapich had seven points, while Seth Johnson scored just five points. For the Bulls to take down the Warriors, they will have to find a way to contain Mosley, who appears to be on the verge of a 40-point game. They also need Johnson to produce more offensively. Johnson averages 11.2 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game, but has scored just 22 points combined in the team's past three games. If Munoz can match Mosley, and Johnson has a nice game offensively, the Bulls can definitely match up with the size of the Warriors. However if either Mosley or Tidwell have breakout games, it will be tough for the Bulls to overcome the experience of the Warriors in this week's 3 pm game.

4:00 pm - Nets @ Lakers
The Week 6 game of the week matchup could just as easily be listed as the game of the year so far, as the 6-0 Lakers take on the 5-1 Nets in a battle for first place in the K1 League standings. No team has been better offensively than the Lakers, who are averaging 79.2 ppg. Four of their six wins have been by double digits, and four different players average double figures for them, led by LJ Harris (19.8 ppg). For the Nets, no team has been better defensively than they have, as they allow just 54.7 ppg. There are many appealing factors to this matchup, including the unique contrast in offense vs defense. In addition to Harris, the Lakers have seen outstanding production from former Pacers' star Kawani Blackman (14.7 ppg), Brian Hernandez (13.5 ppg), and Tone Brooks (12.2 ppg). Devonte Barnes is also averaging 8.3 ppg off the bench. Andre Robertson Jr continues to get healthier each week, as he may matchup defensively on Nets' superstar Martavias Laster. Laster, who was first-team all-league in the Spring 2022 K1 Season, is once again leading the Nets offensively. He is averaging 19.6 points per game and 3.0 steals per game, good for second in the league. Sammie Hines has been solid as well, averaging 15.7 ppg and 5.7 rpg. Perhaps the biggest key for the Nets has been getting help around their top two scorers. Mook Lawrence has done a great job of that this year, averaging 10.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg. Jared Harris and Jerry Wills are both averaging 7.0 ppg, while Ronnie Jackson averages 6.8 ppg. Both of these teams draw as many fans as anyone in the entire league, which should make for an incredible atmosphere. Both teams also lack a true center, but have found ways to compensate, combining for eleven wins in twelve tries. Don't miss the Nets and Lakers matchup on Sunday - the league's biggest matchup to date this season.

5:00 pm - Pistons @ Heat
The Pistons enter their matchup against the Heat with a 1-5 record, desperate for a win. Although the Pistons have played a very difficult schedule thus far, much of their struggles have been self inflicted, as they have played half their games with five of fewer players. Despite an MVP-caliber start to Mark Conner's rookie season, the Pistons have not given him much of a chance to contend with the league's top talent. The Pistons have played arguably the league's top four teams already - the Lakers, Nets, Spurs, and Suns - and played two of those teams with just four players present. Coach Anthony Porche has his work cut out for him, as he tries to save the Pistons' season. The Pistons could theoretically have a big size advantage against the Heat, but it all depends on who shows up for them. Conner had 42 points in a Week 6 loss to the Spurs, as he has continued to score the ball at an amazing pace. Only the Rockets' Antonio Marshall averages more points (28.8 ppg) than Conner's 27.8 points per contest. For the Heat - who were off in Week 6 - they have to wait all the day until the end of the day to get back on the court. In what has been one of the league's most enjoyable teams to watch, the Heat are coming off a unique doubleheader, where they upset the defending champion Spurs, before blowing an 11-point lead to the Grizzlies. The Heat have been in pretty much every one of their games, and won't back down from any challenge. If they can hang on the glass with the Pistons, their advantage should come from their depth and their youth. The Heat have consistently had eight to nine players at their game, and CJ Link (14.0 ppg) has been a huge addition to the team's offensive attack. Terrell Hendrix (21.2 ppg) continues to lead the way offensively, despite a couple of tough games in Week 6. The Heat have also been bolstered by Lamarius Lillard (11.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg), who has played in the team's past three games. Look for two teams that play at almost completely opposite paces, to provide an entertaining battle, as Mark Conner tries to lead the Pistons to their second win of the season against the high-flying Heat.
