12:00 pm - Kings (0-2) @ Lakers (0-2)
The Kings and Lakers kick off Week 3's slate of games, as both teams seek their first win of the season. The Kings drew the short end of the stick with their schedule, taking on the Spurs and Nets in the first two weeks. Now they face a Lakers team who is still very dangerous, but doesn't have the size that the Spurs and Nets did. This will be a welcome change of pace for the Kings, who are sorely missing big man Antwan Peterson under the rim. CJ Link needs to get back to being the leading scorer for the Kings, and he will look to Jamir Hinds and KT Bobo to continue providing additional help on offense. All three of these guys need to be at their best if they are to upset this Lakers team on Sunday. For the Lakers, they were shorthanded in their loss to the Suns in Week 2, with just five available players. However, they will look to ride some of that momentum from their near come from behind victory. Look for Mendi Naylor to return to the lineup, and also look for William Love to make his league debut and to provide some paint presence for the Lakers alongside Chad White. Although the Lakers may be without Brian Hernandez, and the Binion brothers for another few weeks, look for them to build off of their tight loss to the Suns in Week 2. Tone Brooks is due for a big game in this one, as the Lakers hope to get into the win column.

1:00 pm - Nets (2-0) @ Celtics (1-1)
The Nets have quietly started out as the league's best defensive team, shutting down the Knicks and Kings in back to back wins to start the season. They will have a tall task on Sunday, as a fully healthy Billy Baptist returns and looks to give the Celtics a boost, in a game that means a lot to the standings early on in the Spring 2022 League. One of the X-factors for the Nets has been Martavias Laster, perhaps the biggest free agent addition in the offseason. Through two games, Laster has scored 30 points, and has yet to connect from three point range. Laster could be a huge matchup problem for the Celtics, as he looks to get to the basket, and get going from deep. For the Celtics, Baptist is coming off an ankle injury that limited him in Week 2, but he should be fully cleared for this one. The key for this team is getting production from their other starters - Gavin Webb, Donald Ellis, Jonathan Townsend, and Jay Slone. If these four guys can give the Celtics consistent offense, the Celtics will win a lot of games. If they can't though, Baptist won't be able to single handedly beat a team as talented as the Nets. The Nets look to stay undefeated, as just four teams enter Week 3 unblemished.

2:00 pm - Knicks (0-2) @ Bulls (2-0)
The Knicks and Bulls couldn't have gotten off to any different starts in the Spring 2022 League, as the Bulls have won both of their games, averaging 73 points per game in their two wins. Meanwhile the Knicks, who are 0-2, have averaged just 50 points per game in their two losses. The Knicks need a win badly, as they are in the midst of a tough part of the their schedule, but they will have to do it without LJ Harris, their best offensive player. The Bulls on the other hand, have seen their Big 3 continue to light it up offensively. The concern for them, as we saw in last week's win, was returning to their ways of last season, where no one else stepped up offensively outside of their Big 3. The Knicks are big enough - with the Anderson brothers on the inside, as well as Quon Shaw and Braijon Thomas - that they should be able to neutralize the Bulls and their rebounding abilities. If this happens, the Knicks will have a chance, but they will need someone to step up on offense, likely from the guard position. The Knicks have had a whopping 37 turnovers in their first two games, and that won't get the job done on Sunday. Benny Munoz and the Bulls look to get to 3-0, before their matchup against the defending champion Spurs next Sunday.

3:00 pm - Spurs (2-0) @ Suns (1-1)
The Spurs and Suns matchup in one of those games that any serious basketball fan has had circled on their calendar for a while now. Suns' coach Ryan Kvasnicka takes on his former team for the first time, and will feel somewhat confident coming into this one, fresh off an 80-76 win against the Lakers in Week 2. The Suns welcomed back Brian Zirkle and Jay Kvasnicka, who both made an immediate impact in the Week 2 win. While the Suns are the most experienced team in the league, they have the tallest task there is, trying to take down the Super Spurs. The Spurs have rolled to two wins to start the year, including a 99-58 thrashing of the Pacers in Week 2. Dennis Koger has been unstoppable through two games, averaging 26 points and 11.5 rebounds. One of the matchups to watch will be on the inside, where Kevin Howard and CC Malone of the Suns will look to do battle with Trey Johnson and Latrell Tidwell of the Spurs. Johnson and Tidwell are the top two rebounders in the League, while Johnson is also the league's top shot blocker. Look for these big guys to go at it down low. The Spurs will look forward to the return of all-league guard Chris Green, the all-time leader in points scored in IHSA history. If the Suns are to pull off the upset, they will need to control the tempo of the game, as well as their emotions, as both teams look to get to the top of the league standings.

4:00 pm - Bucks (2-0) @ Heat (2-0)
The game of the week matchup features the day's only contest between undefeated teams, as the Bucks and Heat both look to get to 3-0. The Bucks come into this one with a pair of double digit wins, against the Grizzlies and the Pacers. The opposition ramps up this week however, and the Bucks are glad to have newcomers Aleks Malinic and Blake Graham in their lineup. Malinic is averaging 15.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg, while Graham is averaging 17 ppg and 7.5 rpg, to give the Bucks some much needed firepower on the inside. Jaquan Boxley will need to be at his best defensively, as he will look to slow down Terrell Hendrix, the Heat's leading scorer at 22.5 ppg. For the Heat, they are coming off of two massive wins, against two very solid teams. The Heat edged the Suns in Week 1 by a score of 52-50, before holding off the Knicks in Week 2, winning 63-58. Terrell Hendrix is once again at the top of the league in scoring, as he has consistently done for the past three seasons. For the Heat to win this game though, they will need someone else besides Hendrix to step up on the offensive end of the court to help them score points. Mason Monahan and Alonzo King are their next leading scorers, averaging 9.0 ppg. Look for Denzel Alexander and Trey Anthony to possibly provide some of those points. If they Bucks can take care of the ball, and limit the Heat on the perimeter, look for them to stay undefeated in the Week 3 game of the week.

5:00 pm - Grizzlies (0-2) @ Pacers (0-2)
The two youngest teams in the league battle in the Week 3 finale, hoping to pick up a much needed victory. Both teams faced semifinal teams or better from a year ago in their first two games, so they will welcome a much different type of opponent in this one. Both teams have struggled to score the ball a little bit, so this could be a low scoring contest. For the Pacers, everything has run through Jamari Washington (19.0 ppg) and Kawani Blackman (15.5 ppg), two of the best youngsters in the K1 League. If they can get some help from some other players, they will have a great chance to win this game. One key factor for the Pacers could be Otis Houston, who makes his return to the K1 League on Sunday. Although he will still be wearing a bright yellow shirt, he certainly will be on a much different team than he has played on before. That being said, Houston hopes to provide some size and experience to the league's youngest roster. For the Grizzlies, coach Michael Lonergan Jr. hopes this will be the week to pick up that elusive regular season win. The Grizzlies played better in Week 1 than they did in Week 2, but still had a good showing against a loaded Bucks team. Although the Grizzlies are deeper than the Pacers are, they have lacked a clear offensive leader. Jaheim Allen was on fire in Week 2 with 27 points, but he only had two points in Week 1. Pat Allen comes into the game averaging 13.5 ppg, while Jacob Jones leads the team in rebounding at 5.5 rpg. If the Grizzlies can limit Blackman and Washington, they should be the favorites. Don't count out either team as they look for win number one on the young season.
