The Suns' Ryan Kvasnicka highlighted the Spring 2022 K1 All-League awards by taking home player of the year honors. Kvasnicka averaged 24.8 points per game and 10.8 rebounds per game. Matt Cunningham of the Spurs was voted by his peers as coach of the year, as he led the Spurs to a 15-0 record and their third straight championship. Meanwhile the Spurs' Trey Johnson took home the first ever defensive player of the year award, thanks to his dominant play on the interior, where he had 39 blocks on the season.
