Tone Brooks captured Week 6 player of the week honors, with his magical performance on Sunday against the Warriors. With the Lakers trailing by eleven points with just four minutes to play, he scored 27 points to close out the game, including 19 of those at the end of regulation, and another 8 in OT. The Lakers went on to defeat the Warriors by a score of 80-69, improving to 6-2 on the season. Brooks finished the game 9/13 from the field, including 7/11 from the three-point line and 5/5 from the FT line. For Brooks, this is his second POTW honor, as he also won the award back in Week 2 with a 27-point performance to down the Nets.
