For the first time ever, the K1 League features co-players of the week, thanks to a pair of sparkling performances on Sunday afternoon. Quon Shaw of the Lakers was the first player to break the 40 point mark in a game, scoring 42 points and securing six rebounds in an 86-63 win for the Lakers against the Suns. In the final game of the day, Dennis Koger of the Spurs became the first player to record a triple double in a game, scoring 22 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists in a 96-63 win against the Mavericks. Due to the nature that both players did something that had never been accomplished before in K1 League history, the decision was made to award both players the award.
