30 pm - Nets @ Heat: A rather intriguing matchup of youth vs. experience kicks of the Fall K1 League as Coach Chillz and the Nets take on Trey Anthony's Heat. The Nets feature a new-look roster, following the departure of several key pieces from a season ago. The question for them will be, do they have enough playmakers on offense alongside Red Binion to keep pace with the top teams in the league? We should find our rather quickly as they open against the Heat in a pivotal East division matchup. The Heat, who were semifinalists a year ago, have added some serious firepower to their roster. Look for Blake Graham, KT Bobo, JJ Calvin, and Octavius Jefferson to all show play big minutes in their first game with the Heat. The Heat open as 4.5 point favorites, but will the experience of the Nets be enough to bother this young Heat team in the season opener?

30 pm - Bucks @ Suns: Reigning player of the year Kale Maupin opens up with his new-look Bucks team against the Suns on Sunday afternoon. Coach Caleb Johnson has added some different weapons around Maupin, in hopes of having better success against the top teams in the league. For Johnson's team a year ago, five of its six losses were by a combined nine points. Meanwhile Michael Lonergan Jr. - the coach of the Suns - has also brought a very different roster with him to the league in hopes of adding some experience to the league's youngest team. Look for point guard Miyon Dabney to be a centerpiece of the Suns' rebuild. The Bucks however, still do have a more dynamic roster on paper, and it's hard to see anyone on the Suns slowing down Maupin in this one. The Bucks open as 15.5 point favorites against the Suns on Sunday.

30 pm - Bulls @ Mavericks: Two very different looking teams from a season ago will square off in a key game on Sunday afternoon in the Bulls and the Mavericks. We know that both teams bring a dynamic duo into this contest - Bobby Crivokapich and Seth Johnson for the Bulls, and Braijon Thomas and Antwan Peterson for the Mavericks. However the question must be asked, what kind of supporting cast will these two guys receive from the rest of their teammates? Coaches Bobby Crivokapich of the Bulls and Marcell Hobbs of the Mavericks will be asking certain players to step up in the opener alongside their stars. While the Mavericks have better guard play on paper, will they have an answer for Crivokapich and Johnson of the Bulls, who averaged a combined 36.5 points per game last season? The line couldn't be much closer as the Bulls open as 1.5 point favorites.

30 pm - Spurs @ Lakers: The question has already been asked of the new-look Lakers, will they have the size to matchup with the top interior players in the K1 League? Well fortunately for us fans, we won't have to wait long to find out, as the Week 1 game-of-the-week matchup features this high-powered Lakers team against the defending league champions from a year ago in the Spurs. The Lakers sport as good of a starting lineup as any team in the league, in Andre Robertson Jr., Tone Brooks, Quon Shaw, CJ Link, and LJ Harris. The question remains though, if they want to dethrone the Spurs and win the West, can they slow down the Spurs' interior presence of Trey Johnson, Austin Halcomb, Ryan Kvasnicka, and Dennis Koger? The Spurs open as a 2.5 point favorite in this one, and will look to use their height advantage on the inside as they kick of their quest for a second straight championship.

30 pm - Celtics @ Warriors: Two first-time head coaches will matchup in the final game of Week 1, as Deangelo Sanders and his Celtics team will have their hands full against Otis Houston's Warriors. The Celtics will be one the youngest teams in the K1 league, and it will be interesting to see how they handle adversity against the more physical, experienced teams such as the Warriors. The Warriors are a big favorite in this one, as their talented starting five makes its debut in the K1 League in Sammie Hines, Erron Hall II, Latrell Tidwell, Martavius Laster, and Tyree Mosley. Look for the Warriors to not only take care of business in Week 1, but to be a team that challenges the top tier teams in this league. The Warriors open as 17.5 point favorites in their league debut at K1 on Sunday.
