Vivier Bahati demoted at Bumamuru FC
Burundi Premier league leaders Bumamuru FC management on Thursday did reshuffles in the coaching staff in what was termed as preparations for the CAF Competitions next season.
In the reshuffles Coach Vivier Bahati was demoted to club's assistant coach and his position taken by immediate former Polisi Tanzania head coach Joslin Bipfubusa . The management noted that Coach Bahati is a holder of CAF Licence B coaching badge and won't be able to be in the dugout if Bumamuru FC qualifies for CAF Champions League. Joslin is a CAF Licence A holder
Bahati took over Bumamuru FC at the start of the season in August 2022 coming from Azam F. C Tanzania as assistant coach and led Bumamuru FC to a first place finish in the first phase of the season only losing one match .
Bumamuru FC also managed a place in the 2022 CAF confederation cup under Vivier Bahati but were eliminated at the preliminary stage by Ethiopian side Kamene .
Joslin Bipfubusa first assignment will be away to Musongati FC on 21st January,2023 .
