Kelvin Bizimana and Meyamane Ndombe Vingile combined in the midfield to release super striker Yves Bigirimana who calmly rounded up Bumamuru goalkeeper Patient Ndikuriyo to slot home on the empty net .This was the first match in six Burundi Premier League matches that Bumamuru Fc failed to score first

Aigle Noir came back in the second half rejuvenated and ready to defend the lead as Yves Bigirimana was substituted for Verlaine Fusuka in the 50th minute . Vivier Bahati coached side , Bumamuru Fc ,made a change to bring in the clubs' current top scorer Micheal Nduwimana Ballack and the change made an instant impact as he set up Rashid Leon Harerimana for a leveler in the 61st minute .

No chances were created afterwards as both Bumamuru Fc and Aigle Noir SC defended the goals . The match ended in a draw bringing Bumamuru Fc to a record best of eight consecutive matches in Burundi Premier League without a lose while Aigle Noir SC moved to seven consecutive matches in Burundi Premier League without a lose .

The win takes Aigle Noir and Bumamuru Fc to the 23 points but Bumamuru Fc top the burundi premier league table with a superior goal difference .
