12:00 pm - Celtics @ Spurs
The Spurs will look to do something on Sunday that they haven't done in almost a calendar year - start a new winning streak. They will take on the Celtics in the opening game of Week 4, looking to get back in the win column. In a disappointing 63-47 loss to the Warriors on Sunday, the Spurs' offense disappeared in the second half, as did their 22-game win streak. Without Chris Green or Dustin Rennewanz, the Spurs showed a lack of experience on the perimeter, as they connected on just four three-pointers total, and 15 second-half points. Despite 13 rebounds from Trey Johnson, the Spurs were matched rebound for rebound by the Warriors. Dennis Koger was not his usual self, scoring just five points, and only KT Bobo (11 points) and Ben Green (10 points) scored in double figures. For the Celtics, their frustrations sort of boiled over in a 69-52 loss to the Pistons in Week 3. Despite taking the lead late in the first half, the Celtics ultimately lacked the size and firepower to hang with the Pistons. Jonathan Townsend continued to try and take matters into his own hands, as he had 20 points and five rebounds. Antonio Phillips added 18 points and 11 rebounds of his own, but only one other player on the roster made multiple field goals. The Celtics will undoubtedly be overmatched in this game as well, as they simply have to get some other players to step up on offense. With Gavin Webb seemingly out of the picture, they will need Donald Ellis and Josh Washington to play some very meaningful minutes alongside Phillips and Townsend, if the Celtics want to hang with the Spurs for an entire game.

1:00 pm - Heat @ Nets
The Heat and Nets will meet for the fourth time in the past three seasons, with their previous three contests coming down to the final minute of the game. Back in the Fall 2021 K1 League, the Heat won a pair of games over the Nets by single-digits. In the Spring 2022 K1 League, the Nets returned the favor, edging the Heat in an OT thriller by a score of 64-59. Fans of the K1 League will be hoping for another single-digit showdown in this game, as both teams vie for important positioning in the standings heading into a massive Week 5. The Nets picked up a pair of surprising wins over the Pistons and Suns in their first two games, before being upset by the Rockets in OT in Week 3. Despite a last-second, game-winning shot from Ronnie Jackson that appeared to beat the buzzer, the final play was ruled a do-over following a clock error at the scorer's table. In addition to the pain that comes with losing a game that the Nets thought they had won, it also feels like a game they may have for sure won with all-league guard Martavias Laster (17.0 ppg) in the picture. They will hope to have Laster back on Sunday, to join forces with Sammie Hines, who was spectacular against the Rockets, finishing with 29 points and five rebounds. The Nets' biggest hurdle will be keeping up with the youth and athleticism of the Heat, who finally put their skill together for 40 minutes in Week 3, knocking off the Bulls in emphatic fashion. Capped off by the dunk heard around Kankakee, CJ Link captured co-player of the week honors in Week 3 with his 30-point performance against the Bulls. The older Link went 8/10 from three-point land and also grabbed ten rebounds. If Link can continue to produce on both ends of the court alongside star guard Terrell Hendrix (26.7 ppg), the Heat will absolutely have a chance to knock off the veteran Nets. Look for the Heat, who are the league's leader in steals and points off of turnovers, to try and combat the smothering defense of the Nets, whose 57.7 ppg allowed is tops amongst the league's twelve teams.

2:00 pm - Suns @ Lakers
In one of the biggest games of the entire Fall 2022 K1 Season, the contest between the Lakers and the Suns is the only game this week between teams that both won in Week 3. And both wins that each team picked up were quite monumental. The Lakers sit atop the standings as the league's lone 3-0 team, and it happened in quite stunning fashion, as the other four teams that entered Week 2 with a 2-0 record all lost in a span of four hours. The first of those four teams to go down was the Grizzlies, as the Lakers defeated them 63-56 in a comprehensive performance. For the Suns, few could have believed they would enter Week 2 winless, but they quickly pushed any doubts about their roster to the wayside as they shut down a loaded Bucks team in the second half, pulling away for a 72-61 win. Not only does this 2 pm game have playoff implications, as both teams look to be in the mix for Championship Sunday come November, but the Lakers and the Suns will also step onto the court with some eye-dropping talent. The Lakers have been led by an unbelievable lineup of scorers, as they are averaging 88.3 ppg as a team, second to no one. Brian Hernandez (19.0 ppg), LJ Harris (18.3 ppg), Tone Brooks (18.0 ppg), and Kawani Blackman (18.0 ppg) all average close to twenty points per game, while Gerald Duckworth and Andre Robertson Jr. will also bolster the league's lone undefeated team. For the Suns, they needed newcomer Vashawn Sims in more ways than one in Week 3, as he had 21 points and five assists to lead the Suns offensive attack. Sims adds a whole new dimension to the bigger, taller Suns' roster, and could be a key player in this matchup. Sims and Jared Johnson form a nice tandem for the Suns around reigning player of the year Ryan Kvasnicka (19.0 ppg and 7.0 rpg), as they will look to use their size advantage in this one and keep the Lakers from running and gunning. Look for three IU-Northwest Redhawks to lace up their sneakers in this one, in one of the biggest matchups of the entire season.

3:00 pm - Grizzlies @ Warriors
In the only matchup of teams that both won in Week 3, the Grizzlies and Warriors will pit their 2-1 records against one each other in a big 3 pm game. The Warriors bring a two-game win streak into this one, as they will be riding high from their massive upset 63-47 upset win over the defending champion Spurs in Week 3. Tyree Mosley (22.0 ppg) and Latrell Tidwell (19.3 ppg and 11.3 rpg) have been outstanding so far, leading the team offensively. Quon Shaw was the team's best player in a Week 2 win over the Heat, scoring 20 points on an efficient 9/10 peformance from the field. If Shaw's game can mesh with that of Mosley and Tidwell, the Warriors could possess one of the best offensive attacks in the K1 League, as they hope to get back to Championship Sunday once again. On the other side of the aisle, the Grizzlies are led by the White brothers, who led the team offensively against the Lakers, despite not even playing their best brand of basketball. Chris White had 15 points and six rebounds in the contest, and brother Chad White leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15.7 ppg and 11.0 rpg. The White brothers will likely matchup on Mosley and Tidwell in what should be a pair of very appealing matchups. In addition to containing Mosley and Tidwell, the Grizzlies will look for Rich Kirk to pick things up offensively. Kirk had 14 points in a Week 1 upset win over the Suns, but ony connected on one field goal in the Week 3 loss to the Lakers. Look for Kirk, as well as Walter Hudson (8.0 ppg), to chip in some big points in this one. Don't miss a battle between a pair of 2-1 teams, as someone will improve to 3-1 and potentially sit at the top of the K1 League standings after Week 4.

4:00 pm - Bulls @ Pistons
The Pistons picked up a desperately needed win in Week 3 over the Celtics, pulling away in the second half to prevail 69-52, to secure their first ever victory in the K1 League. The Pistons will take on a Bulls team in Week 4 that desperately needs a win of their own. Despite being one of two remaining winless teams in the K1 League, the Bulls are second in points scored as a team. This comes on the heels of back to back high-scoring, but heartbreaking losses. A 90-89 defeat in OT against the Bucks in Week 2, and a 91-87 loss against the Heat in Week 3, showed that the Bulls can absolutely score and play with any team, but their defense and depth also needs to improve. There will be some big boys going at it in this one, as newcomer Kaphri Alston for the Pistons looks to cement his status as one of the best centers in the K1 League. He had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win over the Celtics. Leading scorer Mark Conner is averaging 26.7 ppg through three games for the Pistons, while Shalimar Jacobs impressed with 13 points of his own in the Week 3 victory. For the Bulls, they appear to have a four-headed monster on the offensive end of the court, as Benito Munoz (26.0 ppg), Nick Crowe (19.7 ppg), Seth Johnson (17.0 ppg) and Bobby Crivokapich (16.5 ppg) have all lit up the scoreboard in the early going. Whoever makes more shots on the perimeter may have the edge in this one, as some incredibly skilled players will go at it in a very important game for both teams in the 4 pm matchup.

5:00 pm - Rockets @ Bucks
The Week 4 game of the week features a pair of 2-1 teams going at it in the final game of the day. While these two teams play very different styles, each team is led by a superstar, and player of the year candidate. The Rockets picked up a controversial win over the Nets in Week 3, edging them 59-55 in OT. Despite the way the game ended in regulation, it cannot take away from the individual performance of Tone Marshall, who had 34 points, including all nine of the Rockets' points in OT. Marshall claimed co-player of the week honors alongside CJ Link, as he is now averaging 30.3 ppg through three contests. Alex Thorson is the only other Rockets player averaging double figures, as he has scored 30 points in three contests (10.0 ppg), and is second on the team with eight rebounds per game. Hunter Jacobs (7.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg) will have to play well on the inside for the Rockets, as they could be a at a serious size disadvantage against the Bucks. The Bucks' superstar of their own in Billy Baptist is averaging 30.0 ppg through two games, as he won player of the week honors in Week 2. Lavell McIntosh impressed in his debut in Week 3, scoring 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds. The Bucks will also look to Caleb Johnson (12.3 ppg) and Aleks Malinic (11.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg) to pick things back up offensively as they hope to return to the win column. Depsite the 72-61 loss to the Suns in Week 3, the Bucks showed flashes of brilliance with their starting lineup. Don't miss the Week 4 game of the week, as the top two scorers in the K1 League could match up in the week's finale, as both teams look to pick up their third win of the year.
