12:00 pm - Kings (0-3) @ Celtics (1-2)
The Kings and Celtics go to battle in Week 4, both looking to pick up a pivotal win before the off week for Super Bowl Sunday. The Kings have struggled early on to score the ball, largely due to the difficult schedule they have played, but also in part to the lack of time played together as a unit. Sunday's first half against the Lakers was their best half collectively, and they hope to build on that against the Celtics as they have several winnable games still to play on their schedule. CJ Link finally got going this past Sunday, scoring 20 points, alongside 13 points from point guard KT Bobo. Jamir Hinds leads the Kings in scoring, averaging 12.3 ppg. Similar to the Kings, the Celtics have also been searching for some offensive firepower, outside of their best player Billy Baptist. The Celtics had seven other players score in their Week 1 win against the Lakers, but just four other players score in a Week 3 loss to the Nets. We may say this over and over, but the Celtics will have to get more production out of Donald Ellis and Jay Slone, as well as continued consistency from Jonathan Townsend and Gavin Webb. Baptist may not be around much in the month of February, with a couple of tryouts coming up, so the Celtics absolutely need this game on Sunday before they potentially lose Baptist for the next month.

1:00 pm - Pacers (1-2) @ Lakers (1-2)
No one surprised the league more in Week 3 than the Pacers, who stunned the Grizzlies by 22 points, to pick up their first ever win in the K1 League. After a pair of blowouts in their first two contests, the Pacers welcomed a matchup with a younger, smaller Grizzlies team, and showed that they can compete in the K1 League, especially against smaller squads. Fortunately for them, the Lakers don't have a ton of size, so the Pacers may have a chance to hang around in this one. Kawani Blackman has been one of the best newcomers in the league, averaging 16.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg. Jamari Washington is averaging 15.3 ppg, and Otis Houston impressed last week with a 10-10-6 game in his season debut. For the Lakers, they bounced back against the Kings in Week 3, following a pair of disappointing losses to the Celtics and Suns. Tone Brooks was electric in Week 3, scoring 31 points to take home player of the week honors. If he can get some help around him, the Lakers are dangerous enough to beat anyone from the outside. We still don't know when the Binion brothers and Brian Hernandez will play together for the first time, so in the meantime, Brooks will need to have more games like he did on Sunday for this Lakers team. Another key player for them is point guard Andre Robertson Jr., who is averaging 15.0 ppg, 3.3 assists per game, and a league-high 3.3 steals per game.

2:00 pm - Knicks (1-2) @ Suns (1-2)
Two of the best rebounding teams in the K1 League square off on Sunday, as both teams look to get to 2-2 overall. The Knicks picked up a massive win in Week 3, upsetting the previously undefeated Bulls by a score of 74-60. Braijon Thomas was excellent on offense, leading the way with 23 points. Quon Shaw was superb in his own right, doing a bit of everything in a 19 point, 12 rebound, 7 assist performance, barely missing out on a triple double. The Knicks will also hope to have LJ Harris back in the lineup, who is nursing a groin injury - one that has kept him out of the past two weeks. Brothers Rob Anderson and Chris Anderson have done a nice job on the glass for this team, as they are able to rotate in and out for one another. For the Knicks, they have shown the ability to rebound the ball with anyone, but have had too many turnovers on the young season. The pace that the Suns like to play - as we saw them execute well in the first half last week against the Spurs - could give the Knicks a good chance in this game, as they likely won't face as much pressure as they did against the Nets and Heat in Weeks 1 and 2. However, the Suns are fresh off a highly disappointing conclusion to Sunday's loss to the Spurs, one in which they lost their leading scoring at halftime, and sputtered down the stretch. The Suns have actually held second half leads in all three of their games, but only once have they had their starting five together for a full game. This of course was their lone win back in Week 2 against the Lakers. Look for Ryan Kvasnicka (16.7 ppg) to bounce back on offense, and for Brian Zirkle (4.5 apg) to continue to facilitate the offense like he has done in their past two contests. Both of these teams are dangerous for different reasons, and look for them to go at it down low for forty minutes in a battle of big men.

3:00 pm - Nets (3-0) @ Bucks (3-0)
An early season, blockbuster matchup awaits us basketball fans, as the undefeated Nets and Bucks square off in this Sunday's game of the week. Both teams are widely considered to be league contenders, but will truly be tested for the first time on Sunday. The Nets have had the league's best defense through three weeks, allowing just 49.0 points per game. Meanwhile the Bucks have had the league's second best offense, averaging just shy of 70 points per game as a team. This is in large part thanks to their two free agent acquisitions, Aleks Malinic (19.0 ppg) and Blake Graham (15.3 ppg). These two have helped to form a lethal starting five, built around all-league guard Darien Bosby, three-point champion Christian Straw, and the elite defender, Jaquan Boxley. For the Nets, they have a couple good free agent additions of their own, in Martavias Laster and Sammie Hines. Martavias Laster has been electric on offense early on this season, as he is fresh off a 25-point performance in a win over the Celtics. He leads the team with 18.3 ppg, and knocked down seven threes last Sunday. Sammie Hines has gotten off to a slower start than expected, but don't let this fool you, as he and the Bucks' Blake Graham will go toe-to-toe on Sunday. This is one of several one-on-one matchups that we look forward to following. Another key player for the Nets is big man TJ Wicks, who is averaging double figures on offense (10.0 ppg), and also had five blocks against the Celtics this past week. He will have the tough assignment of containing Malinic. Sharpshooter Lonzale Mason (9.3 ppg) and the all-purpose Mook Lawrence (8.3 ppg) have both been instrumental in the Nets game plan as well, and you can never count out veterans Ronnie Jackson and Jerry Wills. While both teams have several superstars that are worth watching, these are two of the best teams when it comes to playing a team brand of basketball. Whoever shares the ball better and knocks down a couple more shots, could walk away with the league's biggest win to date. With just three undefeated teams remaining in the Spring 2022 K1 League, the winner of this showdown will remain with the Spurs as the lone undefeated teams heading into Super Bowl Sunday weekend. Don't miss this one, the Week 4 game of the week.

4:00 pm - Spurs (3-0) @ Bulls (2-1)
The undefeated Spurs were faced with their first test of the year in Week 3, and responded with a gritty, come from behind win over the Suns to improve to 3-0. They will now take on a dangerous Bulls team, that was upset by the Knicks in Week 3 in surprising fashion, yet still stands at 2-1. We know about the Bulls' ability to score, primarily led by their Big 3. Seth Johnson (20.7 ppg), Benito Munoz (19.3 ppg), and Bobby Crivokapich (19.0 ppg) are to no surprise having stellar seasons, and are all within the top seven in scoring across the league. Their biggest problem though will likely be their bench, as it has on average less production than any other bench in the K1 League. Can this Bulls' team possibly slow down the potent six-man attack of the Super Spurs? Although the Spurs haven't played anywhere close to their full potential yet over the course of a whole game - especially on the offensive end of the court - they still boast six all-league players, and are playing better and better together as each week passes by. This was evident in the second half of Week 3 against the Suns. Last year the Spurs put up 86 points on the Bulls, and did it with ease. Perhaps the most interesting stat coming into this game comes in the rebounding department, as the two teams have five of the top ten rebounders in the league. Trey Johnson (11.0 rpg) Latrell Tidwell (10.7 rpg), and Dennis Koger (9.7 rpg) form a scary-good trio on the glass for the Spurs. Last year's league-leader in rebounds for the Bulls, Seth Johnson, ranks third (10.3 rpg) while Bobby Crivokapich (7.7 rpg) is top ten. For the Bulls to upset the Spurs, their Big 3 will have to be at their best, and they will also need one of their role players - such as Matt Wells or Tryston Swartz - to step up offensively and have a nice game to help the Bulls keep pace.

5:00 pm - Heat (2-1) @ Grizzlies (0-3)
In the final game before a week break for Super Bowl Sunday, the Heat take on the Grizzlies in a matchup of two teams that like to run the floor and crash the boards. Both teams had disappointing performances in Week 3, as the Heat fell apart at the end against the Bucks, and the Grizzlies just couldn't score the basketball in the second half against the Pacers. Terrell Hendrix (21.3 ppg) leads all scorers in the K1 League, and could be a serious matchup problem for the Grizzlies. Although Hendrix himself can be unstoppable at times, the Heat are still searching for those players that can support Hendrix on the offensive end of the court. Denzel Alexander is only averaging 3.7 ppg, and Ke'Sean Williams is averaging just 4.0 ppg. These are two players that the Heat will look to get going. Mason Monahan (9.0 ppg) and Alonzo King (8.7 ppg) have been bright spots so far, but the Heat will also need to be better on the glass, as they have been out rebounded in all three contests so far this year, despite entering the contest with a 2-1 record. One key player for them could be center Willie Strickland, who has missed the first three games with a shoulder injury. If he is able to play on Sunday, the Heat would welcome him into their lineup with open arms. For the Grizzlies, they had a pair of competitive losses against two of the league's best in Week 1 and 2, before completely underestimating the Pacers in Week 3. Although they have a solid ten players, they have struggled with their rotations, and a lack of leadership on the court. Pat Allen has been the team's best player through three weeks, leading the team in scoring (11.7 ppg) and in rebounding (7.0 ppg). The Grizzlies will have to win this game on the perimeter, as they take more three pointers than any other team in the league. They enter this contest shooting 30/95 from three as a team, and will need to hit probably a dozen or more if they look to pull off the upset. The Grizzlies can run with the Heat, but they will need their guards to take care of the ball and to knock down some shots, if they are to pull it off.
