SUPERSTAR BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION | NBA 2K Pro-am E-Basketball League for XBox

Welcome to SSBA! Below listed are guidelines that need to be followed in order for this league to run as smoothly as possible.

Make sure the first thing you do is Go to the player introductions tab and do your introduction. Then to the welcome Tab to Register your player. I’ll have a template already set up and ready for you to complete.

RESPECT
GMs in this league Along with myself and other admins, will be sacrificing a lot to make this league enjoyable for you. No disrespect will be tolerated for My GMs and you can expect the same for the players. If there are any complaints about leadership or about issues between the team it will be discussed in Private via my DMs.

SETUP
There are 2 Conferences. East and west. Both will consist of 5 teams each. I will be hiring a GM for each of these 10 teams. Once the draft concludes each GM will hire an assistant GM to assist him when said gm isn’t available.
I am also hiring a stat taker, someone for highlights and someone to keep my sportscenter updated with the latest news and buzz around the SSBA.

COMBINE:
This is the fun part. My GMs (and ONLY GMs) will set up open runs for scouting purposes. That means all games need to be broadcast. Players can play with any player you want during the combine, registered or unregistered. There will be NO REMATCHES. Sign up for the next open gym and continue to run.
You do not get to choose what team you want to be on. GMs Do NOT play open run games unless you are needed. These are used to scout.

LEAGUE:
Each GM will pick the player and build they would like to draft. Once you are drafted you must play league games with the build that you were drafted on. You cannot switch builds without paying a $5 fee. Being caught on an unregistered player or an alternate build is an automatic forfeiture of your team’s game. You cannot pay AFTER you’ve already played it will still result in a loss.
There are NO refunds for Player Registration.

SCHEDULING:
Schedules will be released a week at a time. For each team There will be 2 official league games per week, along with 3 scrimmage games. The GM from each team has 48 hours to collaborate with their team to set a date and time to play and then both send an agreed upon time to The Commissioners inbox. If one team doesn’t honor the time it will result in a forfeit. If neither team does. It will result in a draw. The scrimmage games are NOT mandatory but they give you a great opportunity to let some of the bench players get some playing time and build some chemistry within your team. ALL GAMES WITHIN THIS LEAGUE MUST BE BROADCAST. All teams must be able to scout. There is a tab strictly for Mixer and Twitch Streams so you can place your links there.

ROSTERS:
There are 10 teams. Each team will consist of a total of UP TO 9 players. 5 starters 2 bench 2 reserve. Reserves players can play for any team at any time if needed and also can participate in open runs during the league as primaries. If a reserve is needed by Its own team AND another team at the same time, the team the reserve is assigned to will win with priority.

FREE AGENTS:
Free agents are active season long in this league. Our GMs hold season long open runs for you to remain seen and continue to build your stock if you weren’t drafted. Positions will need to be filled so continue to grind and stay ready. DRAFTED PLAYERS CAN ONLY BE RELEASED AFTER YOUR FIRST 2 REGULAR SEASON GAMES.

GAMEPLAY
Immediate Restarts on Intro Lagouts.
-If Anyone Lags out in 1st 2 minutes, Restart.
-If you lag out After 2 minutes your team MUST FINISH THE HALF. Then restart and play One more half and add the scores.
-ONLY 1 RESTART PER MATCHUP.

TRADES:
ALL TRADES WILL BE DISCUSSED IN A PRIVATE 3 PERSON PARTY between Commissioner and 2 GMs. No trade will be made without approval of atleast 6/10 GMs. Trades will be limited to 2 per team So FOCUS ON SCOUTING. Draft the players that fit your team. There will be a $3 fee per extra trade after the 2nd one. Each player must play at least 2 games with your team before he is traded again. Free Agents Can be traded as well. All transactions will be posted in the “transactions” tab.
