S8PH Basketball League

The Super 8 Philippines Basketball League, often abbreviated to the S8BL, is an organizational basketball league that began play in April 2016. The league season typically operates during Summer Seasons. The Super 8 Philippines Motorcycle Club (S8PH) formed the S8BL, founded by Former President Joel "Ka Dio" De Leon, Co-Commissioner Erdie Rodas, Co-Commissioner Nhad Matanguihan and the 2016 Club Officers. The S8PH Basketball League is also knowned as the "Paligsamahan" which means the combination of "Paligsahan" (Competition) and "Samahan" (Brotherhood).

The 1st Paligsamahan is composed of 4 Teams which represents the 4 Metro Manila sectors of the Super 8 Philippines Motorcyle Club (S8PH). The North Sector which covers CaMaNaVa, QC and other parts of Bulacan province . The West Sector which covers Manila, Makati, San Juan and Mandaluyong. The East Sector which covers Pasig, Marikina, Pateros, Taguig, Cainta, Antipolo and other parts of Rizal Province. The South Sector which covers Pasay, Paranaque, Bicutan, Las Pinas, Alabang, Muntinlupa, and Cavite.

The 4 teams battled each other in a double-round robin. The North and West are the top seeded teams and they are tied with 4 wins and 1 loss.
