Volcanico VS CB Cidadela
To start of the final regular season matchups of the year, the Achada Grande Volcanico will rematch CB Cidadela. Cidadela were without Paris Collins and big man Zoran Talley in the first matchup that ended with a convincing win for the Volcanico. However, Cidadela is coming back with a motive to achieve revenge against the number two seeded Volcanico hoping to catch them in a relaxed state. Volcanico is coming off of a big loss to undefeated and number one seeded Plateau Warriors. Nasir Core and Juwan Stepney will have to have a big game without big man Cameron Clark which will be a big impact for rebounding. KT’s Cocky selection is the Volcanico getting back to their winning ways with a confident win over a struggling Cidadela, 97-85
Plateau Warriors VS Achada Panthers
The second matchup of the day is between the number one seeded Plateau Warriors and last seeded Achada Panthers. The Panthers are still chasing their first win of the season behind explosive guard tandem Nick Manor-Hall and Taras Carter. It’ll be one of the easier matchups to win with Warrior's duo of Joshua York-Frazer and Andre Jackson sitting big minutes while resting for the playoffs. The Warriors however, have a deep bench with Cape Verdean talent riddled from top to bottom. This game result will depend on how many minutes the superstar tandem will be allowed to play. KT’s Cocky selection is the Panthers finally achieving their season goal of winning a game against a resting Warriors team, 81-75.
Palmarejo Sharks VS Ponta D’Agua
The final game of the day is between two fan favorite championship sleepers as the Palmarejo Sharks take on the Ponta D’Agua Gorillas. In what should be the game of the day, star guard Rodriques Palmer will be sitting out along with big man Allex Austin due to minor injuries and playoff rest. This shouldn’t be a new sight for young star Mario Williams as he poured in 36 points and a game winner in his last game in which Austin and Palmer were out. The Sharks however, are coming off of a rollercoaster kind of week dealing with the loss of star Cape Verdean players while still winning and being competitive. But now that is all over as the Sharks are fully stacked with their full roster. This will serve as a testing field for how good Mario Williams can be as he also gets his Guard Shane De Rosa back as the only help with the scoring load. For the Sharks this should be a tune up game for the playoffs but the Gorillas will be sure to change that. KT’s Cocky selection is the Sharks walking away with a convincing win, 98-84.
