As teams had one last chance to solidify their seeding for the K1 playoff tournament, week six did not disappoint. Five of the week's six games were within single digits, and two of these games came down to the final possession. Team 9 had a pair of close wins, including a dramatic come from behind victory against Team 5, to secure the number one overall seed in the playoff tournament. Team 4 defeated Team 5 on a last second bucket to clinch the fifth seed, while Team 6 edged out Team 3 on a last second shot to secure the eighth seed.

Team 1 vs. Team 8
In a battle of heavyweights, both teams were forced to manage with a short bench. Team 1 had six players in total, while Team 8 had just five. One of these players for Team 8 was Antonio Brooks, who was coming off a foot injury, as he had been in a boot for a full month leading into the matchup. Remarkably, he played all 40 minutes, and scored 15 points in his return to the action. However, it wouldn't be enough, as Team 1 would pull away from Team 8 to win by a score of 83-69. In a game that saw Team 1 up 47-30 at halftime, Team 8 managed to chip away at the deficit and trail 64-59 with eight minutes remaining. Quite unfortunately for Team 8, Gerald Duckworth injured his ankle and had to come out of the game, which actually left Team 8 with only four guys on the court for the majority of the game's final eight minutes. Team 1 would take advantage of this and pull away in the end. Chris Green led Team 1 with 25 points and eight rebounds. Dennis Koger had 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Trey Johnson had 20 points and 7 rebounds. Team 1 improves to 7-1 with the win and will be the number two seed in the playoff tournament. For Team 8, Gerald Duckworth led the way with 22 points, while Bobby Crivokapich added 15 points to match Brooks. Seth Johnson had 14 points and 17 rebounds. Team 8 finishes the regular season at 5-3 and will be the number four seed in the playoff tournament.

Team 4 vs. Team 5
In the battle for the fifth seed, Team 4 and Team 5 found themselves in an absolute dogfight. Trailing 75-72, Team 5 knocked down a three pointer with only 15 seconds remaining to tie the game. However, Team 4's Justin Glenn slipped behind the defense and broke away for a go-ahead layup with ten seconds remaining. Team 3 would have final possession, but didn't get a great look, as Team 4 defeated Team 5 by a score of 77-75. In a back and forth game, Team 4's Kale Maupin was stellar yet again, scoring 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Glenn, Christian Straw, and Jake Lingle all added twelve points of their own. Team 5's Terrell Hendrix had another special day, as he opened his day with a 25-point performance. He is one of three players to average 20 points per game this season in the K1 League. Tommie Tate had 12 points and Alonzo King added 10 points. Team 4 finishes the regular season at 4-4, while the loss pushes Team 3 to 3-4 on the season.

Team 9 vs. Team 5
The first game of Team 5's doubleheader was difficult. Not only did they give up the go-ahead basket with ten seconds to go to fall by two points to Team 4, but their hopes of the fifth seed were dashed. Right back on the court for their second game of the day, few expected them to be leading Team 9 by six points with less than a minute to go. Team 9, who entered the day needing two wins to secure the number overall seed in the playoff tournament, had blown a ten point halftime lead and was in a world of hurt, trailing 58-52. As difficult as their game one loss was though, Team 5 would find a new level of heartbeak in a last minute loss to Team 9. Following a made three by Brian Hernandez to cut the score to 58-55 with 40 seconds to play, Team 5 suddenly couldn't take care of the ball. Their inbounds pass was stolen, and Tyree Mosley hit a deep three to tie the game at 55. The ensuing inbounds pass was also stolen, and Quon Shaw hit the go ahead layup to put Team 9 up 60-58. Team 5 would miss their next shot, and Team 9 would seal it with another basket to win 62-58. Team 5 was led by Terrell Hendrix with 23 points. Tommie Tate added 17 points, and Lamarius had nine points and nine rebounds. Team 9 saw nine of its ten players score, as Shaw led the way with 18 points. With the pair of gut wrenching losses, Team 5 finishes the regular reason at 3-5 and will be the sixth seed in the postseason tournament.

Team 9 vs. Team 7
Team 9 was back at it against Team 7, knowing that a win would secure them the number one seed. A balanced offensive attack, led by 17 points from Brian Hernandez, and 14 points from Quon Shaw, led them to a 75-70 win against Team 7. Team 9, who had a 37-24 advantage at halftime, overcame a slow start to the second half, in route to their seventh win on the season. Despite finishing the regular season at 7-1, Team 9 has yet to lose a game that they played in, and will be the tournament's top seed. Team 7 put together a great performance in the second half, scoring 46 points, but in the end the halftime deficit was too much to make up. Blake Graham impressed in his league debut scoring 19 points. Jaquan Boxley had 18 points, Patrick Cullom had 16 points, while Darian Bosby had 13 points. Team 7 falls to 2-5 on the season with the loss.

Team 2 vs. Team 7
In a rather intriguing matchup between Team 2 and Team 7, Team 2's CJ Link put on his best performance of the year, scoring 29 points to lead Team 2 to a 76-68 victory. Despite trailing by three points at halftime, Team 2 did what it does best, which is finshing down the stretch and winning a close game. Team 2 improves to 6-2 on the year and will be the number three seed in the playoff tournament. Link's efforts gave him player of the week honors for week six. For Team 7, it was the same story again on Sunday. Solid guard play on the offensive end of the court kept them in a game against one of the league's top teams, but their lackadaisical defense and poor shot selection over the course of the 40 minutes ultimately cost them. Team 7 had four players score in double figures. Patrick Cullom led the way with 16 points, while Darian Bosby had 15 points, Blake Graham had 14 points, and Jaquan Boxley had 11 points. Team finishes the season at 2-6 and will be the number seven seed in the playoff tournament.

Team 6 vs. Team 3
Game number 36 on the year was a classic, as two evenly matched teams went toe to toe to close out the regular season. In a game that was tied at 66-66, a late basket from Team 6 gave them a two point advantage, and then Vince Harrison Jr. came away with a steal in the final seconds to preserve a 68-66 win against Team 3. Harrison Jr. led the way for Team 6 scoring 22 points and securing 13 rebounds. Ty Harrison, Fontay Taylor, and Alex Mitchner all had 11 points for Team 6. Team 3 was led by the youngster Zach Mcguirt, who has impressed in his three games this season. He scored 24 points and had nine rebounds to pace Team 3. Jonathan Townsend had 15 points, while Marquis Spearman had 11 points. Markkel Lonergan would add ten points of his own. Team 6 improves to 2-6 with the win and will be the number eight seed in the tournament. The loss pushes Team 3 to 0-8, but they will have another crack against Team 9 next week in the tournament's opening game. Team 3 will be the ninth seed.
