Monday's action kicked off with a thriller as a last second shot helped Tr3way defeat The Defenders 43-41. Tr3way held a double-digit lead throughout most of this one, however The Defenders clamped up on defense in the second half allowing them to crawl back into the game. Two clutch free throws by Heiyab Tessema knotted the game up at 41 with a minute remaining. Tr3way controlled the ball for the final miunute, until Dane Brown drove basline and rose up to knock down the go-ahead bucket with five seconds on the clock. The Defenders final attampt failed to hit rim, giving Tr3way their second win of the season. Akeem Williams and Dane Brown were the top performers, each adding 14 points.
