In a wake of a series of Youth leagues organized by the football Kenya Federation,former Shabana Fc man Peter Kamau Kass Kass has come in handy with a piece of advice on how to get the best out of this leagues .
The Kenya Football Legends Association vice president had this to say :
Youth football requires a comprehensive strategic plan that is systematic.
This is not something you just wake up and launch .The commitment must be focus and direction driven
1.First Assess the current situation: Conduct a thorough analysis of the current state of youth football in your area, including the number of players, facilities, coaches, and competitions.
This will help identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to youth football development.
2.Identify & define the mission, vision, and values:
3.Define the specific objectives and goals that are measurable and achievable and aligned to the national philosophy .
4.Develop strategies and actions that are realistic and achievable.
5.Allocate resources: Allocate the necessary resources to implement the strategies and actions.
5.Regularly Monitor and evaluate progress:
There is a difference between organizing a tournament with a serious strategic youth football ball league .
Meanwhile,FKF Nakuru County branch are set to this season's youth under 13 and under 15 youth league on Saturday,22 ND April ,2022 . In line with FKF's commitment to identify , nurture and exposing the talents .
Nairobi County Youth league started a month ago and is currently underway . In Kakamega County ,plans are underway to commence the youth league before the end of May.
