FKF PUSH AND PULL WITH DIVISION ONE ZONE B CLUBS PERSIST:

After clubs wrote to the CEO Head of League and Competitions last evening, the Federation has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday 17th January,2023 on condition clubs honor their weekend fixtures as FKF has pre-planned meetings.

A quick word from many club representatives a few moments ago indicate the over 16 clubs who vetoed for the meeting are not amused at the high handedness exhibited by the CEO and Head of League and Competitions.

The clubs are categorical that they are the ones giving the Federation operational legitimacy while the Federation does not accord them a fair chance as an equal footballing stakeholder.

The clubs add that since they raised the issue as at 23rd of December the Federation has been mum prompting clubs to caucus on the side and issue the ultimatum.

In addition, the clubs are dismayed that whilst they are burdened with running costs, the credibility of the Kenyan football is even more dented due to the high number of walkovers already dished out in the NSL and Division One whilst the Federation has not uttered a word as to what it is doing in terms of it's plans to procure a sponsor for these leagues leave a lone avail a cent.
"It is not easy to run a football club from one's pocket as most Division One Teams do,it is even more illogical to pump your money in such a haphazard league,no wonder goodwill sponsors are turning a back on teams,by this weekend expect more walkovers ",said one club representative.
Interestingly the government has been waxing lyrical over "bottom up approach to football " and if this latest development is anything to go by then we are doomed at foundation.

Elsewhere the plight of Aps Bomet,Fortune Sacco,Dimba Patriots,Kona Rangers and Mayenje Santos remains in limbo as the clubs wait for the FKF to make good their threat and relegate them.

Word on the street has it a caucus of football enthusiasts will be moving court to urge an interpretation as to the place of a court disbanded NEC,the place of a General Assembly and the purpose and intent of the Judicial Review proceedings that stayed Ohaga's ruling.

It is rumoured that majority of football followers were perturbed at the much hyped Fifa fact finding mission after it met Ababu and the ousted NEC and never met the most key stakeholder the Clubs who suffer great wrath.

Observers point that many of the big KPL clubs opt to play as they are corporate sponsored thus receive pay and allowances and as such do not know the plight of the NSL and Division One Clubs go through.

That both Afc Leopards and Gor Mahia are deaf and or blind to such an omission(read clubs meeting the Fifa delegation) is a no brainer.

Could it be a legitimacy PR stand by the Ministry and FKF,the truth will come out,it normally does in KenyaKenyaKenyaKenya
