Welcome to the Inaugural Draft season:
6 GMs will be selecting players to their team and managing and controlling their team *from scheduling games, trading, releasing or signing players during off-seasons, and putting in the time to making their team Elite*
- Registration is open @ the tab above so make sure to sign up before NBA2k20 releases
- There will be a process of Open Gyms to allow all members to network with one another and to showcase their talent to GMs - GMs will ask in GroupMe Chat for 10 total members to participate in a pick up 5 on 5 pro am game so they can scout before the draft - GMs will be mix and matching different Lineups during this process to see how they want to run their squad
- Every participant will be selected onto a team (registration will be limited to either first 36 or 42 members so teams will be made up of 6 or 7 players) - the 1 or 2 extra players on the squad will be there for when a member of the starting 5 isn't available to play at the agreed time between the 2 teams playing
- Each member will be allowed to use their multiple builds if they have it, to allow teams to be more flexible in terms of scheduling games and to replace team's starting players- for example if the starting Center can't make the agreed time, the 6th or 7th man can move into his spot but if they don't have a Center, the GM can choose someone on the team who has a Center to move into the Center position
- After the Draft, Commissioner will generate a regular season schedule where each team plays each other twice - so the season will consist of 10 games - each team will need to play twice within 1 week from Sunday to Sunday
- GroupMe app is required to schedule games, GMs will be in charge to finding a time where 5 of their players are all available at and relaying it to the opposing GM and working on a time that fits both team's schedule
- If it is a common problem or issue where a certain player is constantly unable to play, that player will be booted from the league
- Then there will be a playoff format similar to the NFL where Seeds 3-6 will play in the First Round, the winners advance and play Seeds 1-2 in Second Round, and the winners from this round will be the Championship- format will be best of 1, best of 3, best of 5
- GMs will be allowed to trade or cut players in off-season after the Playoffs
