The second night of the Elevate Your Game League at PickUp USA did not disappoint as the Gray team upset the favored Yellow team that dominated last week. Gray team was led by Player of the Night Juju Hyden, who had a season high for all players in the league, with 41 points. Juju was a standout player on both ends of the court, proving that he could score at all levels and being a dominat shot blocker on defense. Gray remains undefeated and Yellow falls to a 1-1.
Lloyd Smith from Blue was the second highest scorer of the night with 29 points as he filled the shoes of Eric Gaines, who had 30 points for them last week. Smith led his team to a 88-66 victory over Orange, despite Carter Bass's outstanding three-point shooting performance.
Red proved that sharing the ball really does win games as they passed the ball to a 64-47 win over Green. Alfred Vazquez was the leading scorer for Red with 22 points.
Danny Green from White was back with another unreal shooting performance, earning a game high 25 points. His teammate Leonard Benson wasn't far behind with 18 points and an absolutely electrifying defensive performance. Despite their best efforts, Black came away with the 83-72 win. Black had four players in double digits, with Jyhee Williams leading the way with 19 points.
