Birchwood Community Basketball League
BIRCHWOOD BASKETBALL LEAGUE SEASON 3
The Birchwood Basketball League is at its Season 3. One of Birchwood's biggest & exclusive community activity this year! More than 80 residents have signed-up and participated! Now bigger than ever! Each team is composed of residents per building: Alder, Evergreen, Oleander, Maple, Calathea, and we have included a "Clubhouse" Team composed of our housekeeping, maintenance, contractors and pmo. Completing a 6 team roster of highligly capable and competitive groups! BBL Season 3 has adopted a “Guaranteed Play” format where each player is guaranteed playing time in every game they show up. We have also implemented a "Player Option" feature to enable teams fill out a 15-20 team roster. Some players would have the opportunity to play in 2 teams. Six teams will have a 2 rounds for elimination games (30 games total, 10 games each team), Semi-Final game and a best of 3 Championship series!
This year's league has the most diverse group and unique format as we level up our league. We have also assembled a top-notch "Commissioner Team" that will govern and serve the players for this season. Commisioners have taken responisbility in so many areas to make sure that this league will provide a full blown experience to all. We are also dedicating this league to one of the greats... The one who inspired us in a lot of ways, in basketball and in perseverance to always give our best, give our all in the sport we love. We will always remember the Mamba mentality in every game and in our hearts. I love you basketball!
