Kisumu all stars is managed by the community by the help of the county government of Kisumu

At the start of last season,they were tipped as one of the favorites to win The National Super League title and get automatic promotion to the Kenya Premier League but due to financial constrains that never happened

Kisumu all stars were weak in striking after their top scorer Tony Nyagor picked up an injury towards the end of the season rendering the strike force blunt

Defensive ,Kisumu all stars leaked in a lot of goals as Goalkeeper Brian Omambia was injured mid season and Goddfery Were left the club to join Mully Children Home

Away matches proved to a hustle for the eagles as most of kisumu all stars loses came from away games

This season, Kisumu All Stars has lost a number of notable players among them their last top scorer Tony Nyagor who left to join Mully Children Home , goalkeeper Brian Omambia who is yet to find a club ,Midfleder Boaz Odhiambo who also has joined Mcf Fc

Since the defence was the weakest link ,the team has roped in Shabana Fc Captain Fredrick Omollo ,Nzoia Sugar Fc goalkeeper Boaz Omondi ,Former Kibera Black Stars striker Rocky Junior .

With the new management coming in and Kisumu County government accepting to inject finances in to the team ,Kisumu All Stars are the favorites to push for promotion this season

Darajani Gogo FC formerly known as Gogo Boys Football club is a football team from the extensive Kibera Slums in Nairobi started 8 years ago to unite the people of Darajani

This will be Darajani Gogo FC first season in the national Super League after merging with Muhoroni Youth . Last season they took part in the FKF division one leagues zone A finishing in the sixth position .

In the FKF division one league ,Darajani Gogo FC were strong in every department but a slow strat to the season prevented them from reaching the highs .

Hillary Shirao had a perfect start to the season before his season was cut short by a knee injury that has kept him out for almost a year now and without proper medication .

As part of preparing for the new season , Darajani Gogo FC has brought in A new head coach and assistant Marco Andrea Ongwae who previously had stints with Nairobi City Stars and Gusii Football club and also helped Shabana Fc gain promotion back to the National Super League as a coach player .

Darajani Gogo FC has maitained the same squad that played in the FKF division one but bringing In a mixture of new players like Former Zoo man Brian Asewe, former Afc Leopards man Augustine Kute ,Gusii Fc man Ali Mwinyi .

Darajani Gogo FC are known to enjoy a massive following due to there style of playing attractive football starting from the back and progressing to the striking force .

Brian Odhiambo View : Watching Darajani Gogo FC play you will instantly make a conclusion it's a team destined for greatness but with them been new in National Super League and all that comes with this league it will be very early to expect them to perform at the top level . The players might burn out mid season as they are not used to long travelling across Kenya .

I see them perform in the first leg but the second leg will be tough for them unless they will be active in the second transfer window .

Last season Gogo lost a lot of chances to score goals and by the coming of Augustine Kute the striking problem may be a thing of the past but UpTo now they haven't found a perfect dm replacement for Shirao and words in the streets say they are interested in former Nzoia man Mohammed Baraza

Vihiga United is a team from the talented Vihiga County in Western Region home of football talents .

Vihiga United were favorites last year to gain promotion back to FKFPL after relegation the national Super League but uncertainty endured in the team that made them not to perform to the expectations.

Been a county funded team ,the county government of Vihiga at one time cut short the sponsorship which threw Vihiga United into a diffcult period that even honouring fixtures was a hustle .

Vihiga United away form was poor as they went the whole first leg without recording any away win losing all the away encounters in the first half of the season.

The striking force was also blunt after Lawrence Luvanda and Stwerd Mathayo left to Tusker Fc but no proper replacement was done .Prince Ayeko also left the club to Afc Leopards but due to finances no replacement of the centre back was effected

This season the team has lost two key players in Isaac Otieno a striker that has joined Shabana Fc and Goalkeeper Onzere who is now with Rainbow Fc in Dubai for soccer exhibitions

No incomings has been reported at the club as the team was to start Pre-Season on Monday morning and by the time of writing this report sources close to Coach Mike Muiruri reported that no one had reported to the traing grounds at Kidunda in Vihiga

This season Vihiga United are not expected to perform due to the ongoing off field struggles unless they pull a surprise as none of Kenyan footballers wants to join the club .

Kibera Black Stars is a community club from the biggest slums in Africa Kibera that was formed mainly to nature talents in the area and as a tool of unifying the community

Kibera Black Stars is one of the longest serving teams in the national Super League producing average results each year . Last season was not different from the previous seasons as they yet again produced minimal results .

Kibera Black Stars were strong at the start of the season but lacked the finishing power towards the end of the season .

Defense proved to be Kibera Black Stars major undoing as they gave away goals easily , Goalkeeping department was another area of concern that really let the team down last season prompting the then coach Paul Ogai to use over three goalkeepers last season .

At the end of the season,Paul Ogai left as Kibera Black Stars also lost 14 of it's Senoir players where reports that are yet to be verified claim they were used by bookmakers to fix matches

Among them who have left the club are Samuel Kapen Kibera Black Stars top soccer last season,Rocky Junior Thier second top scorer ,Defenders Chris Bede and Charles Kalango .

The team has resorted to bringing in young talents across the Kibera slums poaching in midlfielder Emmanuel Manu from Silibwet Leons , Goalkeeper Richard Bacha from Mathare United,Brian Mandela from Fortune sacco,Amos Odhiambo from Elim Fc . Those are some of the notable Senoir players in by the new coach Ezekiel Ogutu .

Speaking to Ow Sports (Brian Odhiambo) Coach Ogutu outlined his plan for the season as quoted
" I have been given a young squad to work with which will take time but if the boys can believe in themselves a stake at the premier league is possible," Ogutu adds ," I like playing attractive football,the fans should be ready to come in big numbers to enjoy football ,the Brazilian way ,"

On his preffered formation " 4-3-3 wide " let the players have fun with the ball ,says Ogutu .

Ogutu also urges sponsors to come and invest in Kenyan Football as serious football is Back in the country .

Brian Odhiambo view : With Kibera Black Stars bringing in a crop of new players ,it's going to take time before the squad intergrates together and been new comers to this league ,Kibera Black Stars fans should be ready for another disappointing season.

They have strengthened the goalkeeping side as Bacha is a strong keeper with national Super League experience but I don't believe in the defenders and strikers brought in . Experience and intensity of NSL won't end well with them since majority are just 18 years old

Though Mseal managed 21 wins ,5 draws and 10 loses managing a third place finish but lost to Wazito Football club in the promotion play offs
Murang'a Seal biggest win last season was aganist Naivas FC where they managed to put 4 past Naivas. At St . Last Season in National Super League Shabana Fc hosted it's home matches at William Ole ntimama Stadium and Awendo Green Stadium but as from this season all matches will be hosted at Gusii Stadium .
