FKF Announces National Super League fixtures days after nullifying leagues

Football Kenya Federation on Friday released fixtures for FKF premier league, National Super League and FKF Women Premier League for the 2022/2023 season a day after nullification of 2021/2022 season that was ran by the FKF Caretaker Committee and FKF Transition Committee.

National Super League Transition Committee Champions Aps Bomet and second placed Fortune Sacco are part of the released fixtures after Aps Bomet and Fortune Sacco promotion to the top flight football team in Kenya was Voided .Though,the Bomet based side Aps Bomet Fc has vowed to challenge the decision in court as Aps Bomet Fc believe they gained promotion lawfully. Speaking to Ow Sports Aps Bomet Coach Odera says his boys are determined and ready to fight again regardless the position the management of the team will take .

In the National Super League fixtures released Aps Bomet Fc start the season aganist Kwale based SS Assad on 27th November,2022 at Bomet IAAF stadium .

Some notable changes in the fixtures ,is the exclusion of Zoo Kericho F.C who are relegated to FKF division one Zone B as a decision of the world football governing body FIFA .Also Darajani Gogo FC is a new team on the fixtures replacing Muhoroni Youth who are set to play in the FKF Premier League .

Kiajiado Football club has also been included taking Dandora love position and it's matches will be hosted at Iidamat stadium in Kajiado County . Mwatate United will begin it's National Super League Campaign in the second week aganist Naivas FC as the new fixtures only contain 19 teams instead of 20 teams .

The first week will also witness a coast derby pitting Coastal Heroes vs Mombasa Elites at Mbaraki Sports Club Mombasa.Gusii Fc will start the campaign aganist Kisumu All Stars at Awendo Green Stadium though the team has asked FKF to allow them use Kericho Green Stadium for it's home matches .

A mouth watering clash is scheduled for Migori County where Migori Youth will Ezekiel Akwana coached side Murang'a Seal .
