Matchday eleven of the FUFA Big League came with mixed results but the highlight of the week came in the game between Luwero United and Mbarara City.
The Ankole Lions registered their first loss of the campaign falling 2-1 to Luwero United at Kasovo Playground.
Musa Mugerwa and Isaac Balyejusa scored for the Luwero based side while Jamie Nvule’s goal was just a consolation for the visitors.

The result meant Mbarara City surrendered their stay at the top and dropped to third place on 22 points same as second placed NEC FC who were 1-0 winners at Booma United.
Luwero United on the other hand moved to eighth position on 15 points.
At Kigaaya playground in Hoima, hosts Kitara FC were too strong Kyetume FC, obliterating them 4-1.
Experienced striker Patrick Kaddu had a brace to his name with Moses Seruyide and Edison Agondeze scoring the other goals for Kitara while Muzamiru Waiswa scored a consolation for the Nakisunga based side.

Victory elevated Kitara to the top of the log on 23 points, one ahead of NEC and Mbarara City.
NEC were 1-0 winners over Booma United in Masindi thanks to Tonny Kiberu’s solitary effort.
In Adjumani at the Paridi stadium, former Police FC player Basani Safi’s goal wasn’t enough against his former side Police FC.Reagan Male and Tony Kiwalazi scored the two goals that gave the Cops the much desired win.
In the other games played, Soroti City defeated Ndejje University 2-0, Kaaro Karungi held Kataka in a one all draw while Jinja United edged Lugazi FC 1-0 courtesy of Shafic Muganza’s goal.
