Playoffs:
1st round of playoffs: Wednesday January 5 @ 7:30 & 8:30 (5 v 12, 6 v 11, 7 v 10, 8 v 9, top 4 seeds get bye)
Quarterfinals: Monday January 10 @ 7:30 & 8:30 (1 v 8-9 winner, 2 v 7-10, 3 v 6-11, 4 v 5-12)
Semifinals: Wednesday January 12 @ 7:30 @ 8:30
Championship game: Monday January 17 @ 8 pm

TIMING AND SCORING
Each game consists of two 20 minute halves.
The clock will run continuously except for the following conditions:
a. Technical Fouls
b. Injuries
c. Timeouts (2 per half, no carryovers)
d. Any dead ball under 10 seconds left in 1st half or two minutes to play in the 2nd half or overtime
e. Any made basket in last 30 seconds of game or overtime
Overtime periods will be three minutes in length with only one timeout. Timeouts will be carried over into the overtime.
Once there are 3 minutes left in 2nd half a 30 second shot-clock will apply until end of game. A shot must hit the rim for shot-clock to reset.
Games will start on time. We will only allow a five minute grace period to start all games. If five players are not present at game time, four players may start the game.

FOUL RULES
Bonus one-and-one free throws will occur on the seventh team foul.
Bonus two shots will occur on the tenth team foul.
Hanging on the rim will result in a technical foul. Any player to bend or damage equipment in the facility may be held fiscally responsible for any damages.
Technical fouls will result in two free throw shots and possession of the ball and count as a personal foul. Any player that is ejected from a contest by either two technical fouls or one flagrant foul will be suspended for one game and possible indefinite suspension. If a player has accumulated 3 technical fouls throughout the season he will be suspended for 1 game plus 1 game for every subsequent technical foul received.

BEHAVIORAL REGULATIONS
Fighting, foul language, unsportsmanlike conduct, or behavior not representative of the values of the Jewish people, are strictly prohibited. These actions can and will result in banishment from any further participation in JBL. Any player harassing a scorekeeper or an official may be issued a technical foul. Any player that is issued two technical fouls will be ejected from the game. Ejections from a game will result in a one game suspension and possible extended suspension per league review. Players that threaten officials, players, or scorekeepers will be banned from the league. Verbal threats of violence toward any player, official, or scorekeeper will not be tolerated and will result in player being banned from the league. No alcohol or drugs are permitted in or outside of KYHS. Anyone suspected of or found with these substances will be banned from playing in the league. This policy is in effect to protect the safety of all participants.
2 ejections for a player in a season will lead to suspension for remainder of that season plus will have to sit out the following season
