KISUMU ALL STARS EDGE OUT GUSII FC IN A FIVE GOAL THRILLER

Kisumu all stars played the first away game of the season on Wednesday afternoon away to Gusii Fc in Gusii Stadium . This was Kisumu All Stars third game of the season while for Gusii Fc it was the first game after postponement of the opening fixtures

Heading into the match both teams Kisumu All Stars and Gusii Fc were looking for a maiden win in the league .Kisumu All Stars had drawn all the opening two matches in a barren scoreline aganist Migori Youth and Mully Children Home Football Club

After a scoreless first half, Kisumu All Stars, grabbed the opening goal just three minutes upon resumption in the second half through Laban Otieno.

Brian Nyakundi however ensured his side did not trail for long as he scored the equalizer on the 68th minute.

Just one minute later, Gravins Odhiambo restored Kisumu All Stars lead before edging the team further ahead with his second goal of the game that made it 3-1 in the 75th minute.

Down by the two quick goals, Gusii tried to hit back but only managed to find the back of the net in the 93rd minute through Hadi Hamisi, a goal that proved too little too late as Kisumu All Stars walked back home with all the three points for their first win of the season.

Elsewhere,John Kiplagat Penalty was enough for Murang'a Seal to record it's first win of the season as they defeated Mcf Fc in a match played at Ruaraka grounds
