Kibera Black Stars will host Shabana FC on Wednesday in an FKF National Super League round 12 top-of-the-table clash.

Kibera Black Stars head coach Evans Omondi says the importance of the game is clear to both teams.

“It’s a do-or-die match. We have respect for Shabana but we do not fear them,” said Kibera Black Stars head coach Evans Omondi.

They are third in the league with 18 points and have only conceded three goals so far in the league.

“This is our year of promotion. We have been in the FKF National Super League for 8 years.”

Current league leaders Shabana have had an unbeaten run in the league, conceding only two goals in that run.

“Kibera Black Stars is a good team and we are prepared for the game tomorrow.”

Shabana have amassed 25 points in the league, seven ahead of second-placed Muranga Seal.

” One slip-up in the game can lead to the loss of the game for either of the teams and that is why as a coach I do not want to instill fear in my players as they head into the match, ” said Shabana head coach Sammy Okoth

At Camp Toyoyo, Naivas will play MCF. Muranga Seal will travel to Wundanyi to face Mwatate United. Mara Sugar will play Kisumu Allstars at Awendo Green Stadium.
