SS Assad have been hit with financial struggles since the start of the year and have been depending on well wishers to honour league matches .
With the deductions, Silibwet Leons,SS Assad have now accumulated 3 points as Mwatate United remain with -2 points ahead of match day 11
Speaking to a football administrator in the country ,he lauded the move by Football Kenya Federation saying it will help shape football in the country after a series of walkovers seen so far in the league
" I'm happy with the verdicts rendered by the federation ,points deduction is going to get teams working and finding finances for fixtures. Our teams don't want to work ,they don't want to plan but want to wake a day to the game and raise money ,it doesn't work like that "
He adds ," after National Super League,FKF should go for lower tier leagues, there is where we mould our football,if we start from the early stages ,we will never experience Walkovers in the league ".
