Silibwet Leons record first win of the season

Silibwet Leons ended nine game wait for a National Super League win with victory over National Super League newcomers Kajiado FC

Heading into the match Silibwet Leons FC had recorded heavy defeats to Kibera Black Stars, Shabana,Migori Youth and a recent walkover to Murang'a Seal. Bomet based club had recorded two draws from Kisumu All Stars and MCF FC matches .

Alvin Otieno strike in the 39th minute was enough for Joseph Ongoro coached side to walk away with three points .

Kajiado FC coach Martin Mutembei was however not a fan of Silibwet Leons FC style of play suggesting that the ball was out most of time. Mutembei though praised his young squad and promised to bounce back

Silibwet Leons FC team manager Erick Rono was impressed by the results congratulating his team for the first win of the season and more so away from home despite the recent challenges facing the club
